From Progressive Trance's soaring melodies to Jungle's gritty beats, my musical journey has always been fueled by a love for exploring different soundscapes. Now, I've found my home in the vibrant world of Progressive House and Melodic House, where lush pads and captivating melodies weave together to create an emotional soundscape.
Influenced by artists like Sasha, Digweed, Boards of Canada, Underworld, AFFKT, Sian, Guy J, Khen, etc. my music is infused with the beauty of progressive trance and the raw energy of Indie Dance. Imagine big, crisp snares driving the rhythm, powerful vocals telling stories, and all wrapped in a blanket of warm, uplifting melodies.
While I've dabbled in darker genres like Techno, my heart yearns for melodies that transcend genre boundaries. This website is your portal to my ever-evolving soundscape, where you'll find my latest releases and discover the emotional depth I pour into each track.
Stay tuned for new music and dive into the world where melodies reign supreme!
Four track, original EP
This album evolved out of a conversation I had with 3rd Avenue's label head, Dom. After submission of the tracks for the Three of a Kind release, I was discussing what he was looking for in my next release. He recommended putting together a collection of records, which played with the various styles that fall under the 3rd Ave umbrella: Organic House, Melodic House, Progressive House and Melodic Breaks. After hearing his thoughts, I went into the studio with the mission of creating a new release that played with these various styles, was a cohesive experience and had that "Halon" sound. Synthetic Emotions is what came out of those sessions.

Six tracks by three producers on 3rd Avenue
As a long time fan of the label 3rd Avenue (in fact, this is how I first learned about the Sound Avenue family) I am grateful to finally be able to release music with them. I have two new original tracks "Finite Recognition" and "Probability Wave" which is part of the 6 track release. The release features two other producers: Lucio Gastaldo and Sebastián Castellano and once again I am super proud to be part of this release!
Style: Progressive House, Melodic House, Organic House & Deep House
Eighteen track Various Artist compilation on Sound Avenue
I am incredibly excited to be part of the 2024 release of the Correlation series presented by Sound Avenue. I have been a huge fan of this label and been releasing music on the label group's Future Avenue for a few years now. My track "Onomastics" was picked to be included in this release and I am super proud to be part of this amazing collection.
Style: Progressive House, Melodic House, Organic House & Deep House
Five track, original EP
It features five new original tracks that blend Progressive House, Melodic House and Indie Dance into a captivating musical experience. This is a bold new direction for me, but it still retains the essence of the style you love. Featuring "Haunted (James Halon Remix)".
I was asked by Massive Harmony Records to make a Melodic Breaks take on Ákos Győrfy track "Haunted". Using the vocal sample as a leading element to drive the sonic palette and keeping a laid back breaks vibe.

Free download of "Vampire (James Halon Unofficial Remix)"
To kick off 2024, I wanted to feature a remix of my favorite Pop track of 2023 (if not the last decade). When "Vampire" dropped last summer, I couldn't stop playing it. The vocals, lyrics and overall hook was just the right amount of grit and sheen. I couldn't shake it. At the end of the year, I fired up Ableton, tore the track down to nothing but Olivia's vocals and rebuilt it from the ground up with all new synths & sounds. Here is my fresh take of "Vampire" in 2024.

Featuring "Night (Remix)".
Anata reached out to me to see if I wanted to remix his track "Night". I loved the vocals and the overall feeling of the track. I took the vibes and layered new melodic elements and re-edited the vocals to create a new flow.
Style: Progressive House, Melodic House
Featuring 3 of my tracks, including a new remix of "Castle in the Sky".
This 30+ track Various Artist (VA) release features a broad swath of Artists on the Session Road Music roster. I have three tracks included in the VA release. A remix of my original tune "Thaumaturgy" by Xiasou, Hernán Torres; my remix of Michael Kortenhaus' "Shangri-La" and an exclusive to this release remix of label head Kenshi Kamaro's "Castle in the Sky".
Style: Progressive House, Melodic House, Breaks, UK Garage
A two track release of original music
This A and AA record features "Hypnocubes" and "Shatterlings". "Hypnocubes" is a melodic techno track with a heavily vocoded sample, driving kick and bass, targeting the dance floor. "Shatterlings" is a much more melodic/progressive house tune, with huge leads and melodies.
Style: Progressive House, Melodic Techno
Featuring "Not Alone (James Halon Remix)"
A Melodic Breaks remix of J.P. Velardi, Daniela Casavola's tune. I really wanted to highlight Daniela's vocals and built the remix around her singing. If you listen closely to the call & response portion you can hear my own vocal contributions.
Style: Progressive House, Melodic Breaks
Featuring "History (James Halon Remix)"
Keeping with the original style of Progressive House, my version built up a lush pad using the vocal sample from the original track. Building and layering in new and expanded melodies, all rooted heavily from the source material.
Style: Progressive House, Melodic House
Michael Kortenhaus - Shangri-La
Featuring "Shangri-La (James Halon Remix)"
Michael's original tune is a driving yet minimal Techno track with some subtle house undertones. I latched onto those minor house elements, and recreated it more into a deep house meets melodic take. Still trying to keep a minimal vibe through the tune.
Style: Minimal Techno, House, Deep House, Melodic House
Loss of Beauty
Original single with a remix by Kostiya
My original tune is a deep, Progressive track with massive bass and a drop and build centered around huge melodic elements. This was my first release on ThreeRecords and I was blown away by the remix Kostiya provided. His minimal, striped down take is just gorgeous and I am so prod to have it paired with my original track.
Style: Progressive House, Minimal House
Thaumaturgy
Original single with a remixes by Xiasou, Hernán Torres and Javier Laporte
This has been my sleeper hit. The most popular tune in my catalog, so far. When I played it for my good friend Martinec, he said it was "huge". At the time, I though it was a solid track but I am really inspired about how people have taken to it. The release includes a lush take by Javier Laporte and a really radical re-envisioning by Xiasou & Hernán Torres.
Style: Progressive House, Melodic Techno
Mayanna
Original single
This original single is heavy on the drums and rhythms. Minimal melody and patterns, vocal chops, breathing builds and drops, and a driving bassline. This is a fun tune that I enjoy loud on a big system.
Style: Progressive House, Organic House
Contemplation
Original single with three remixes by Ananta (CL), Audiofive and Rony Calderon
The original is a deep Melodic House tune with Rhodes piano leads, layered plucks and big sweeping saw bass. Yet, there is still a lot of air and room in the track itself. What is exciting about this release is hearing these three great producers apply their skills and perspective to the tracks. All three takes are unique, interesting and bring various elements and approaches to the source material.
